Nowadays local economies and products get more attention, by which conscious shopping and the purchase and consumption of quality foods can become a part of everyday life in the countries of the European Union.
Under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation (H2020) framework program, the SmartChain-project (Smart Solutions in short food chains) is the “flagship” of the presentation and promotion of short food supply chains. The Hungarian partner of the project is the Kisléptékű Termékelőállítók és Szolgáltatók Országos Érdekképviseletének Egyesülete (Association of National Interest Representatives of Small-Scale Product Manufacturers and Service Providers)
