In 2017 the Third Award of the Supportive Official Professional of the Year was Handed Over

September 22, 2017 Kislépték handed over Award of the Supportive Official Professional of the Year with the support of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture this year again
This award recognises the supportive administrative work and positive attitude towards small scale farmers and producers, family farms and agro-service providers. Nominee to the award may only be a professional, official veterinarian and food-inspector.

The award giving ceremony was held on the stand of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture at OMÉK 2017 (National Agricultural and Food Fai). Awards were handed over by Gergely Papp Deputy Professional Chief Director of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture, Dr Lajos Bognár, Deputy State Secretary Responsible for Supervising Food Chain at the Ministry of Agriculture and Dr Imre Nemes deputy president of the National Food Chain Safety Office  and Andrea Szabadkai President of Kislépték Association, the founder of the award. After the welcome speech of Dr Lajos Bodnár Andrea Szabadkai explained the message of the award and introduced the master piece of this year award made from glazed ceramics which was prepared by Balázs Kató folk-art master, member of the Association of Fehérvár Folk Artists, working in Enying. The award is made every year specially for this event by a well-known folk-art master proposed by Coalition of Hungarian Folk Artists, a member of Kislépték. The motive of all awards is the tree of life which symbolises that tree of life, such as small-scale farmers and local products, may exist in thousand different forms, but represent universal values, i.e. values in culture, identity, trust, subsistence and the richness of rural life.
Upon the decision of the Presidency of Kislépték the three awardees are:
Official veterinarian of Siófok and Siófok District. He is for great help for the settlement administrators as to construe food hygiene rule and to comply with regulatory deadlines. He provides support with proper rigorism for farmers applying in tenders and to call the grants. He is open to participate on workshops organised for small-scale farmers. Dr Péter Kovács was present with his family and sent the following message: “We have to make our job within the legal framework according the rules of our conscious and with horse sense.”

Dr Zoltán Karsai is official veterinarian of Szentlőrinc at Szigetvár District. He often lectures for small-scale farmers at local workshops and gives useful information. His fair strictness is together with maximal helpfulness. The award was taken by Román Rajczy, representative of Szinergia Association due to the busy schedule of the awardee.

Dr Zsuzsanna Molnár Nagyné main official veterinarian of Sopron and Sopron District. Beside her supreme knowledge, she is full with empathy, flexibility since clients may even contact her after working hours, she personally delivers official documents immediately as they are ready. She could not be present at the award ceremony because of her studies.
